CONTEXT

We are a Creative Agency & Startup Studio that provides Digital Products and Services turns to focus on client success. We specialize in user interface design, including front-end development which we consider to be an integral part.

Over the past 40 years, the Landmark Group has built 17 retail businesses across the Middle East and India. First launched in 2009, Landmark Shops is the conglomerate's answer to online retail and aims to connect its core retail brands and take them online.

Targets

  • A double objective:
  • User acquisition
  • Increase online conversions
  • High number of SKUs available across all Landmark Group brands: Centre babyshop, centrepoint, homecentre, homebox, lifestyle, max, shoemart and Emax
  • Lack of scalability online

Challenges

Methodology

  • After a few tech implementations; some necessary steps were followed:
  • Confirming the product catalog specs
  • Importing Google’s default lists (All Visitors, General Visitors, Past Buyers, Product Viewers and Shopping Cart Abandoners)
  • Since ads are dynamic, data is taken from the feed (image, price, promotion, link, etc.)
  • A template has then been built using a color code that respects the brand's identity, along with an effective call to action.
  • To optimize Dynamic Remarketing campaigns, we start by defining a bidding strategy and budget per campaign (the latter being the variables which impact the traffic volume since we do not have much control over the audience's size). Optimizations consist of adopting a test & learn approach to the ad's elements (template, size, effectiveness of call-to-actions/Ad messages, etc.)

Outcome

  • ROI 2.5X higher on average compared to Classic Retargeting through GDN with 1,3000 incremental sales.
